About Rachel, Our Board Certified Licensed Optician

Rachel brings 25 years of combined experience in ophthalmology and optical care. She served as an Office Manager and Ophthalmic Technician at an ophthalmology practice, where she assisted with in-office procedures, preoperative care, postoperative care, and the dry eye clinic.

Since joining Peepers 12 years ago, Rachel has earned her ABO and NCLE certifications and become a Board Certified Licensed Optician. She is a member of the Opticians of Florida and regularly attends continuing education to stay current in the field. Rachel also has several years of experience fitting soft contact lenses and troubleshooting contact lens concerns. She is cross-trained in both surfacing and finishing in the optical lab. Her background combines clinical experience, optical expertise, contact lens knowledge, and hands-on experience in lens production to support patients’ vision and eyewear needs.
